Easy Dumpling Soup

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, freshly grated
  • 4 cups Crescent Chicken Stock (equiv. of 2 packs)
  • 0.67 cup button mushrooms
  • 2 baby bok choy
  • 3 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp miso paste to taste (alternatively, red or yellow curry paste)
  • 1 packet Crescent Chicken/Seafood/Vegetable Dumpling


  1. Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large stockpot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Whisk in Crescent Chicken stock, mushrooms and 2 cups water.
  3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until mushrooms have softened, about 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in bok choy and green onions. Stir in miso paste until well combined, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Crescent stock does not have salt so please add salt to taste.
  6. Stir in Crescent Dumplings until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately.
